The Hopeprint Team

Hopeprint could not exist without our incredible team of volunteers that help to make it all possible. Our volunteer team comes from a wide variety of backgrounds, but each bring their own unique “hopeprint” to the team which can be used to make a positive impact on another’s life.

Our Spring/Summer session will be starting soon, and we could use a number of volunteers to help make our vision and dreams a reality for our community! Here’s a look at some of the key roles we need to fill. (Please note that this list is not complete, so if you don’t see a good fit, please contact us for more info and ops!)

Summer Youth Program Team

During the summer months, we have the unique opportunity to more intentionally invest in the lives of the youth in our neighborhood around character development and cross-cultural unity. We are looking for youth team members who can do one or more of the following:

  • Hopeprint Kids Camp Staff – Week 1: July 1-5, 9am-4pm (for kids ages 8-9)
  • Hopeprint Kids Camp Staff – Week 2 : July 29-August 1, 9am-4pm (for kids ages 4-7)
  • Open Playroom Volunteers: Mondays & Wednesdays OR Tuesdays & Thursdays (from 12 Noon – 3:00pm) the weeks of July 15, July 22, August 5 and August 12*

* Can’t volunteer two days a week? While we’d love to have as much consistency as possible for the kids, we would still love to have you!

Hospitality Team Members

The members of the Hospitality Team are focused around two main roles: (1) co-hosting our community dinners and neighborhood BBQs as well as (2) actively receiving hospitality amidst our community by attending festivals, weddings and more. With a community that revolves most of its social gatherings around food, foodies will likely find this a great fit! (But don’t worry, the steak and potato types are welcome too.). Check the calendar on the top toolbar for the dates for our hospitality events.

Time Commitment: 1.5-3 hours/week

Mentors & Coaches for Developing Entrepreneurs & Leaders

We are on the lookout from mentors and coaches who have a background in one of more of the following areas:

  • Entrepreneurial – started your own business
  • Business Management – play (or played) a senior management role in a business of any kind
  • Restauranteurs
  • Personal Development – have been personally led through and/or led others through personal development (includes mentoring, coaching, etc)
  • Financial Counseling
  • Strategic Planning
  • Community Development

There are two tracks of mentorship we are looking for these skills in – (1) mentoring potential entrepreneurs in a business incubator and (2) our leadership development cohort where we are training up influencers to be leaders in our community. If you have one of the listed backgrounds or skill sets, we’d love to talk with you!

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/week
