Who We Are

Our Vision

A people of hope empowered to thrive collectively forming a unified neighborhood rich in culture and community.

Our Mission

Discover and develop the unique hopeprints of our Hopeprint Family by building relational bridges within our diverse neighborhood and extending into the community at large.

Hopeprints are the unique imprints of hope entrusted to each individual to leave on the world around them. Developing them is to empower individuals to thrive and be a part of the vision.

The Hopeprint Family is the collection of individuals who are actively participating in our vision, from the neighborhood of the Hopeprint Homes and the resettled refugee community.

Our Values:

  • Personalized Mentorship
  • Practicing Hospitality
  • Strategic Community Collaboration

We believe that Syracuse, NY has been given a gift. Each year, over 700 refugees arrive in our city and bring with them an incredible amount of potential. When each of these lives has another who walks beside them and helps them overcome the barriers of language and culture in this foreign land, this potential is unlocked and released into our world. We believe that as this takes place, not only will Syracuse’s Northside (their main community of residence) be re-envisioned, but so will our entire city.

Hopeprint is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization.

We each have been given a unique fingerprint – wiring, personality, passions and all that makes us who we are. We have also been given a hopeprint – a way that only we can imprint hope in the world we have been placed in. We… middle-class Americans, resettled refugees of many nations and tribes, young and old, rich and poor… we have a hopeprint. Question is, what will you do with yours?
